Merry Christmas from Down Under!

Happy Christmas everyone! I know that the Swedish Christmas just began and every little one is still waiting for Santa while I only have ten minutes left. It's been a great day with sunshine, Swedish food (thanks IKEA) and Swedish people. Lots of Christmas Carols and some 'Sunes Julkalender'. Now it's time for bed tho, really sleepy. And Thanks a lot everyone for a good night and for making my first Christmas away from home a good one. Here's some pics.

So people, have a really nice Christmas! Good night from a sunny Oz!

Closer to 30 than 20...

It's my birthday! 25 is the age. Feel like 20 tho. Just remembered my 20th birthday when my family got up at 4 o'clock in the morning, drove all the way to Linköping (2.5h drive) just to have breakfast and champange with me in the morning :) So cute! But I do understand Australia is a bit far away so I forgive you for not having breakfast with me this morning, haha. Instead I had two other lovely Swedes singing happy birthday for me:
Isabell & Jonna ;)

Later I had a brilliant lunch with all the lovely girls from Ink & Spindle :) + Isabell

Got a card in the mail from my lovely friend Karin! Thank you darling!

I hope I see you tomorrow at the Christmas Bazaar!
Have to get everything ready for that now...

Bye bye!

Thunder & Stingo

Thunder & Stingo have been very busy lately with starting up the brand and making screenprinted products. Well, promised some photos and here they are.

One fucking handsome pilot.
Who doesn't want him on a t-shirt.

Printing late in the studio, which is why I look like a mess...

Finally some finished products! Tea towels!

Work work and work!
Stingo is productive and cute!

Temporary business cards is a must.

Stingo is posing.

Yep, that's it for today folks... more photos will be on our website that is coming up soon. And so will the thunderandstingo.wordpress.com. Please be patient.

But one irritating thing is that we were supposed to get our internet sorted out today, the guy came in the morning as schduled just to state that he couldn't do anything because it was raining...

More photos from the market will be up after the weekend... hope our things will sell.
Bye for now!

New website under construction

This is what I'm doing atm.

Which is why my blog hasn't been updated for a while... Well, not doing this on my own, get some help from the guys in the studio below us, Lettuce. Especially thanks to Joel, that is beeing patient to show me html and CSS. It is so much fun, I'm such a nerd.
The other thing is that we don't have any internet at the new house yet. 10 business days they said, counting from tomorrow. The house is awesome btw! Photos coming later.

Here's some pics from Halloween (Hällivin) :)

Me as a marionette puppet and some random guys.

Thought this was a really cool custome, a potplant :)

Smoking hot housemate, Heather!

And not to forget, the scariest of them all, Julia Guillard... aka Brad :)

Well, heading home it's 19.30 so been a long day with heaps of chocloate as it is Teegs birthday! Happy birthday Teegs!

This morning

It is sunny, early friday morning. It is quite varm and the sky is blue. This is some photos of my walk to work this morning.
This is the building where Ink & Spindle has their printstudio!

My way to work just a few minutes ago.

We are about to move to a new house in Brunswick. Had a bit of bad luck because three weeks ago we got this notice saying that we all had to move out before 15 of dec. We were beeing kicked out. Already! Only lived in the house for 5 days. Anyway, my housemates are great and we are all moving to this lovley house just next to Melbourne ZOO. I love the fact that we are going to live right next to Royal Park, which is a lovely big park with colourful birds :)

Here are some more things I've made here at Ink & Spindle.

Baskets, and theese I made for myself.

Tonight there is this massive Halloween party next door, and all have to dress up... fun night.

Invisible zipperfoot

Been productive in the studio. Today I fell in love with the invisible zipper foot. Ok, I'm a nerd. Not that it's news to anyone.
I know, it looks dodgy but I promise you, it will satify your needs.

Wohoo, invisible zipper.

A bag I made with the handprinted fabric from Ink & Spindle

Back on square one

Just got my computer back from Apple store, brand new fan that works. Cheers Apple! Also back at Stinas place, the place turned out to be a bummer so I'm moving again on friday, hopefully this will be the place where I'm gonna spend my next ten months, gut feeling is positive! Met my future housemates last friday for a drink or five along the river, was awesome.

Short summary from last week. Been working at Ink & Spindle, went to knitting class with Teegs and Swingdancing class after with Lara! Some wierd dudes at the dance class, but over all much fun. Fringe festival is on here and went to see a play on thursday. Melbourne is the shit!

Now, gonna continue knitting my socks. Pretty tired after an dramatic weekend with my indian 'friend', who was my housemate for one week. Photos from Mb will be up soon.

Melbourne

Well sorry for taking time, been up to a 'heaps' of stuff. First friday night was epic, just arrived in Melbourne at my friend Stinas (aka Stingo) house and just 24h later I was watching 'Frankie wants out' (amazing Swing, Jazz, Lounge type of music) and a Burlesque show! After that we owned the dance floor. Well good first impression of Melbourne I think!

At the moment am at the Ink & Spindle print studio. Lara and Teegs are ace and the studio is really nice! There is a market coming up and a lot of preparation to do and the studio is pretty busy. 'Finders Keepers' a designer market in Docklands, will be much fun!
